IBI International only trades legally obtained products from controlled suppliers. All lumber we deliver has legal origin as regulated by IBAMA, the Brazilian Department of Environmental Affairs. This means that all lumber exported by IBI International follows strict regulations for sustainable forestry.

We take responsibility for the environment

For us at IBI International, the act of trading tropical lumber means a high level of both environmental and social responsibility. For this reason, IBI International is an FSC®-Certified company (FSC-C101641).

The trademark of the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) indicates the timber used in manufacturing products is harvested from forests which are well managed according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.

FSC®-marked products

FSC® is an international, non-profit association whose membership comprises environmental and social groups and progressive forestry and wood retail companies in partnership to improve forest management worldwide.

IBI International is improving the range of FSC®-marked products and encourages our customers to promote these products.
